The Theme of Manifesta 8, the European Biennial of Contemporary Art Is :

 "In dialogue with northern Africa "

As Biennalist take the thematic of Biennial  seriously and noticed very very few , nearly none artist from Magreb

We were wondering :

How can we have dialogue with Northern Africa without Norther African beeing represented ? ( and why not ? )

This motivated to open a PENETRATION SPACE only for them .

Thierry Geoffroy / Colonel opened his  exhibition space in San Anton  to Penetration.The curator group CPS invited Colonel at Manifesta . The prison of San Anton  is one of the main exhibition venue of the biennial

Statistic in the Previeuw bus tour at V.I.P. opening days : How many V.I.P. in this bus are from Northern Africa ? . We found only one and she was in fact danish  .
